Request deletion by email

Send your request to with the subject Just Try — data deletion request.

This opens a draft in your email app. Review it and send it to submit your request. If you use webmail, copy the address and subject instead.

  • Tell us whether you can still access the original installation.
  • If known, include your nickname or a previous support reference and approximate last use. These help us investigate; they do not prove ownership by themselves.
  • Tell us whether you want all Just Try records deleted or are asking about particular data.

We will reply to discuss verification, the scope of deletion and the expected completion time. You do not need to reinstall the app just to submit a request.

Do not send passwords, access tokens, installation secrets or identity documents.

Delete directly in the app

  1. Open Just Try while connected to the internet.Use the original installation that still has your records.
  2. Open My.Tap the profile icon, then find the My data section.
  3. Tap Delete my data.Review the confirmation and tap Delete.
  4. Wait for the request to succeed. If you see an error, retry when your connection works or email support.

A successful request deletes associated records from the live service. Continuing afterwards can create a new, empty guest identity.

What is deleted

  • Your nickname and profile content.
  • Saved and tried activities, ratings and written reflections.
  • Personal cover photos stored by Just Try.
  • Recommendation preferences, feedback and associated event records.
  • Identity links, sessions and any older app-account credentials linked to those records.

Original photos in your device's photo library are not deleted. General activities and public illustrations in the Just Try catalogue are not your personal records and remain available.

How we verify your request

Guest profiles are not linked to a verified email address. To protect your records, an email address, nickname or public user ID alone is not enough to authorize deletion.

If the original installation is accessible, the in-app action authenticates the request automatically. For an email request, support may provide a one-time challenge that you can confirm through a profile change, or review a previously verified support relationship. We do not ask you to email your app credentials.

If the original installation is gone

You can still email us. We will review the information available, but if the original guest identity cannot be located and reliably verified, we may be unable to delete specific records. Reinstalling creates a new guest identity and does not reconnect to the old one.

What may remain

The live service keeps a minimal deleted-user marker so that older requests cannot recreate your records. It does not retain your nickname, activity history, reflections or photos.

Restricted backups and operational logs are separate from the live records. Backups currently have no fixed automatic expiry and are manually retired; the app's delete action does not immediately erase those copies. Server logs rotate separately. Any remaining retention relevant to a support request will be explained to you.

Read the retention and deletion policy for details. Deletion of live records is permanent; do not rely on a backup to recover a deleted guest profile.
